Hi, i want to give you a little information about how my logo animation was made.
Hi, i want to give you a little information about how my logo animation was made.
While im working on my shortfilm i also decided it is time for a new logo.
So i took a piece of paper and started to make some sketches and came up with this one.
It’s simple, but i think it is just right for me.
Here is the animation:
Design done in Inkskape.
Animation, Effects, Cut, Compositing and Sound Design in Blender.
Background melody by Noize Index ( http://www.youtube.com/noizeindexmusic )
While the production of my short film makes massive progress i decided to give myself a little challenge and model a human head in Blender. I mostly modelled static stuff for the last months so this was really fun.
It took me a few hours. I focused mostly on getting all the loops right.
For now im not working more on this model, but i will definetly come back to it later to do texture, hair particles and sculpt.
My first ‘official’ speedmodelling challenge! Im very pleased with the result:
The quest was to model a stopwatch (in my case a pocketwatch) with as much detail as possible in 60 minutes.
I had 2 people who also competed against me on the challenge, see their results here.
As always feedback is appreciated
Thanks to Dennis Haupt for donating his renderpower to render this image
Hey there, sorry for long time no posting but i had a lot of exams.
Im currently still working on my new project on which i work for several months now, which will be a short film.
Yesterday i modelled another prop and i decided to give it away for free, maybe you can use it.

The flowerpot is really sloppy done, but feel free to make your own one.
The whole .blend is setup to be rendered with Cycles.
I reworked an older model and set it up to work in the Cycles render engine.
Prepared a node setup which ‘detects’ rust or paint and colors only the paint by using an RGB wheel.

Hey there,
i don’t have much time for posting here at the moment due to my final exams coming closer.
Just thought i should share some workflow tricks that maybe some of you dont know yet.
So here is the first one, for modelling on no-volume objects and volume objects with modelled holes (tunnels).

Expect irregular posted future tips
(Next ‘real’ post coming soon)
Hey there,
sorry for not posting in a while, but i am in preparation for final school exams and also in preparation for my new project, which will be bigger than anything i tried before.
Heres a little model sneak peek from today which was done with Blender and rendered with Cycles.
Maybe you noticed theres the wrong material on the right bands inside, but its fixed now, just didnt have time to render it. Remember this is only a model presentation, its not showing scene, setting or anything of the project
I finally finished my newest piece, a close-up image of a vinyl.
I had to face a lot of difficulties during the creation of this, for example the creation of the normal map for the vinyl. If the request is there, i can put the normal map up for free download.
Model, concept, lighting, render setup, composite by me, final rendering done by Dennis Haupt.

Questions, feedback and requests appreciated.
